Giovanni Ribisi is one of the sexiest men alive.
; )

I don’t think he’s that hot but I adore him. He’s just downright adorable in Friends and he totally nailed Spike Jonze in Lost In Translation, with the stuttering and little mannerisms. I also think he’s one of those underrated actors that Hollywood constantly ignores.

Christmas Wishlist

I told my boss today, hey, why don’t we come up with our wishlist for the gift exchange that way we’ll know what to get for each other? And so she made us write five different things we want for ourselves. I actually spent a good hour thinking about this because given our price limit this year, I could ask for better presents.

Chaotic Order

M asked, “how do you arrange your clothes?”

I said,

“Well, it sounds weird but here goes:

Top drawer (forgot to include this part):

Favorites + Sentimental Value

Semi-Favorites + Sentimental Value

Favorites + No Sentimental Value

Middle drawer:

Tank tops

Graphic/ Printed shirts

Solid/plain shirts

Bottom drawer:

Bottoms

Sweaters/cardigans

Work clothes

The dresses and work pants are hanging inside the bigger closet where I also stuff my bags and some accessories. No one else understands my arrangement and this is why, I really HAAAATE it when some people tinker with my bedroom/closet because they’ll never understand. Hello, face it, I have my own way of doing things.

Sonnet 116 by Shakespeare

I hope I may never acknowledge any reason why minds that truly love each other shouldn’t be joined together. Love isn’t really love if it changes when it sees the beloved change or if it disappears when the beloved leaves. Oh no, love is a constant and unchanging light that shines on storms without being shaken; it is the star that guides every wandering boat. And like a star, its value is beyond measure, though its height can be measured. Love is not under time’s power, though time has the power to destroy rosy lips and cheeks. Love does not alter with the passage of brief hours and weeks, but lasts until Doomsday. If I’m wrong about this and can be proven wrong, I never wrote, and no man ever loved.

Jimmy Choo for H&M mania

M and I met today. We ran out of ideas about what to do after we had our semi-regular serving of tapsilog and chicken joy so we just thought, ok, let’s just go to Beverly Center to maybe watch a movie or something. So there we were, wishing for a good flick and as we stepped into the 8th floor where they have the cinemas and stuff, we saw this huge line of people. And we thought, wow, is Twilight being shown already? Turned out that line was for H&M.

Grabe, the line I think covered 3/4 of the entire 8th floor and inside the store was already jampacked. And you can clearly see all those people inside scouring and probably fighting over jackets, gloves, bags, dresses and of course, shoes. Ang gulo gulo as in. There were even guards outside and H&M already mandated that each customer purchase just one item per style. M and I just looked at each other in disbelief and felt like, hello, ang jologs namin kasi hindi kami interesado.

One of my most sick tendencies when it comes to dressing up is that I’ll have this idea, this concept for a getup and I would always, always want to parade it in front of my boyfriend. Like, I would get obsessed with lace or peplum dresses or a nude sheath and I would only use them when we go out.

Though I agree that society still treats women and men differently even under a veil of PC, being uncouth about the supposed inferiority of women guarantees that you won’t be getting any quality lay. No woman worth having between your legs would agree to be with a man who attempts to subjugate her kind.

I love Annie

I’ve put off cutting my hair because 1) It is quite pricey- a haircut typically starts at $15 and color at $35-40; 2) There aren’t a lot of beeeauty parlors around my zip; 3) I’m lazy. My last haircut which was a bit dreadful mainly because it’s reminiscent of a chumbawamba with a guy suffering from ED, was last April and in a matter of 7 months, my hair grew from shoulder length to Rapunzel-like. Okay, exag. Give me another 7 months and that may well be accurate.

I didn’t find the perfect moment because I think that today was about just having today. And I think that we’re one of those couples who’ll have a long story when people ask how we found each other. I will see her every now and then, and maybe one year she’ll be with somebody and the next year I’ll be with somebody and it’s gonna take a long time… And then it’s perfect. I’m in no rush.

My Thursdays now hold a lot of meaning. Haha. Baliw.
